The fiberglass mat was coated by gypsum powder or calcium carbonate powder during manufacture. The whole manufacture process don’t need glue. And it comes out as a complete piece of mat, then finally packed as rolls.

When service time, you just need to attach the back face of fiberglass mat to the substrate you picked, for example, foam materials. At last it comes out as a lighter, anti-fire, anti-mold and moisture resistant coated gypsum board.
