The Difference Between Meta-Aramid and Para-Aramid
Meta-Aramids are highly resistant to temperature, chemical degradation, and abrasion. A meta-aramid fiber is usually manufactured by wet spinning, which means spins in a chemical solution. Para-aramids display high tensile strength and modulus behavior. These fibers are created by the dry jet. The key feature is their ability to withstand extreme tensile stress, which could be up to 21cN/dTex.
